Hi, I'm Larry, and I've been playing video games for a long time. I thought it might be helpful to share a quick timeline of my gaming history to give you some context for this space. I've often wished others would do the same, so here's mine!
I'll put a few notes underneath.
-----
Notes:
• The Apple IIc and Amiga turned me on to games.
• I probably played the Amiga more than the SMS a year in there but it wasn't mine, it was at a friend's house.
• Gaming has always been fun for me, even now. I consider the late Original Xbox to PS4 (and consoles in between) the high point for me and possibly gaming in general.

• I have concerns that we could be slipping into a mini dark age of sorts after the highs a decade ago.
• I turned away from "PC Gaming" early because I entered the workforce and the last thing I wanted to do was spend more time on a computer after work so consoles became what I enjoyed.

• The PlayStation 1 and 2 were around but just not part of my gaming life. I do remember the first time I saw a PS1 boot up and was blown away, but otherwise I was in college and having the funs.
• We got my daughter a Nintendo Switch when she was around six years old. I've picked it up a few times to play with her, but it is every blue moon.
• Arcade includes units in grocery stores, pizza places a place in Atlantic Beach, NC called "Jungle Land" as well as a mall that had an incredible collection.
